James C. Ayers, Jr.

James C. Ayers, Jr., graduated cum laude from Ohio State University, and obtained his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as a Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Tennessee Bar Association, Federal Bar Association - Montgomery Chapter, and the Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery, and Shelby County Bar Associations. He is admitted to the State Courts of Alabama, the State Courts of Tennessee, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama, the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Tennessee, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a certified arbitrator for the Association of the Better Business Bureau, and a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Mr. Ayers is also a shareholder of The Law Offices of James C. Ayers, Jr., P.C., a general law practice located in Columbiana, Alabama. He practices in the areas of employment law, consumer rights, abuse, fraud and malpractice involving the elderly, personal injury, and death actions. He has lectured to various professional groups and published materials in the areas of evidence, expert witnesses, trial practice, arbitration, and employment law.
